Riley: I tried to wait for you mommy but my tummy said "eat, eat, eat"

Mommy: Mommy needs a break

Riley: She means she doesn't want to take care of the crazy children.

Mommy: Riley I need to use your gift card.

Riley: Toys R us is also available.

Riley: Someone threw a body out of an airplane? How terrible. Must've hurt.

Mommy: Probably. 



Riley: Mommy sometimes I can't believe this is real life.
Mommy: You watching too much tv?
Riley: Yeah.

Mommy: Come on you can do it! I believe in you.

Riley: He keeps yelling at me and I don't want to deal with it.

Mommy: Thank you Riley

Riley: I don't even know what we are clapping for.



Riley to Grandma: Mom said you had hot chocolate. Do you have marshmallows?

Grandma: No

Riley: Of course you don't.

Riley: You want a massage or something?

Mommy: I did just have a 2 hour massage.

{Starts chopping my back}
Mommy: Actually he didn't massage my head you can do that.

Riley: You have sand in your hair.

Mommy: hahahahah that's dandruff

Riley: He's on the computer

Riley: We have mail!

Riley: I want to do it so i can show you I'm a big girl !

Riley: Can I watch a show?
Mommy: Yeah. {changes channel}You don't need to be watching Vampire diaries.

Mommy: What's that smell?

Uncle: It's outside! Oh that's horrible!

Riley: It's the smell of nature so deal with it.


 Riley: Wouldn't it be cool to jump on top of a car? I think it would.

Mommy: While it's moving?

Riley: No....

Mommy: Just sitting still then?

Riley: Are you sure you want to do this ?


{Getting nails done and Grandma decides to get gel and it takes longer.}

Riley: Why does Grandma have to be so fancy and take a long time?

It's the beginning of a new chapter. We have now reached a new age and the things that come out of her mouth are getting funnier and funnier.

Riley: Steve won so we had to do medium and it was hard....it was my nightmare!
Mommy: Who's Steve? What are you talking about?
Riley: Minecraft

Mommy: Chocolate makes me happy!
Riley: Chocolate makes me crazy

Mommy: We can go to the library and check it {how to spell a word} out in the dictionary.

Riley: What's a dictionary?

Mommy: A big book with all the words in the english language. It tells you what the word means and how to spell it.

Riley: Isn't that on the computer?

Mommy: HAHA This is what we used before the internet Riley.

Mommy to Daddy: You better stop while you are ahead you keep digging yourself into a hole.
Riley: What are you guys talking about?
Daddy: Mommy's being sassy and I'm being sassy back and she doesn't like it. 
Riley: Maybe you should just stop talking and just enjoy the ride.

Riley: I need that!
Mommy: ..... {turns to her} For what?!
Riley:....... For you.

Mommy: Riley what's this? {beads in a cup}

Riley: No from daddy

Riley: Aren't you glad I helped you find my stuff?

Daddy: You didn't help me

Riley: I told you where it was


Riley: Mommy! My voice camouflaged into the song......... {new song comes on} Mommy it camouflaged again.


Riley: Mommy how old do you have to be old?


Riley: I know why they call it IHOP because it's so good you jump up and down!


Riley: I feel different today.

Mommy: Like in a good way?

Riley: I feel older.......



On JOBS:


Riley: You and mommy are just one thing. I'm four things.

Daddy: What's mommy's job

Riley: Mommy works for groceries and toys. Daddy works for money. 

Mommy: What do you do?

Riley: Read, curious, play and.....just sit around.

Daddy: I'm the boss. What does Mommy do?

Riley: Mommy sits with Caleb and watches tv all day.. {my kid ladies and gentleman... thanks a lot Riley!}

Mommy: I wish people would just pick up their dogs poop. I mean they don't let their kids poop outside and leave it for us to walk all over.

Mommy: Riley I'm so upset I pumped 3oz of milk and then I didn't close the bag right and it spilled on the counter and I lost an ounce so now I only have 2oz of milk.

Riley: Does that mean you have to squeeze more?

Mommy: Haha Yes!


Riley: Siri I have a new baby brother!

Siri: I bet you say that to all your apple products.

Riley: What's apple problems?



Mommy: Make sure you sit on the floor with your cup....I mean juice box.

Riley: You said cup, it's a juice box....CRAZZZYY MAMA

Riley: Daddy what do you do at work?
Daddy: I sit at a desk and call people to get them to join the Army.
Riley: That's all you do?
Daddy: Haha yeah 


Riley: We got tooglers Mommy!
Mommy: Tooglers?
Riley: Yeah it's red and it's strawberry
Mommy: Twizzlers?
Riley: Yeah!

Riley: Look it's a bomb..right mommy?
Mommy: A bomb?
Riley: Yeah
Mommy: You mean ambush? {I said ambush earlier}
Riley: Yeah! ........ That's an ambush! {Pointing to the track team running towards us}


Daddy: What color are your eyes?

Riley: Blueish green like yours! We have the same eyes!

Daddy: What color is your hair?

Riley: Blonde like yours! We have the same hair! .........but not the same pajamas.

Daddy: Are you ok Riley?

Daddy: Your mint is naked?

Riley: Yeah it's not wearing any clothes! {giggles}

Mommy: ........Hotel California

Riley: Yeah! {smiles big}


Daddy: You're just curious right Riley?

Riley:.....and Bored!

Daddy to Mommy: That's what you get when you mix boredom and curiosity. You get a lot of questions.



Riley: {After being in trouble starts talking to her friend from the window in her room}
Izzy I need to see you so I know you're okay!


Riley: Mommy, you're so derble

Mommy: Derble?

Riley: Yeah der a ble.

Mommy: Oh I'm adorable?

Riley: Yeah!

Mommy: Thank you. You're adorable too.
