Scotland Day 3

I can't believe I was in Scotland a year ago already! Not only that but I have yet to finish blogging about it. I have to admit that life is overwhelming and I get so behind on stuff. I'm just trying to keep up and I am failing. I'm so terribly sorry. So with that said I am going to be hitting you with blog post after blog post til I'm all caught up.

Scotland Day 3:

Every tour we met up across the street from the City Chambers in Glasgow square. So we walked around it while we waited for the driver. We didn't even realize that some scenes in Outlander were filmed here too. My goodness can I go back yet?

Evan's favorite movie is Braveheart so of course we had to do a William Wallace tour. Even if you aren't a Braveheart fan it's still a huge part of Scottish history. Not to mention the monument itself is so incredibly gorgeous! I love intricate architecture and this was just amazing. The view from the top was just phenomenal and we had the best weather! It was only raining when we were in the tour bus or inside. Definitely blessed on this trip!

Evan at Glen Eagles
We had a tour at the Famous Grouse distillery in Glenturret where you could taste the whiskey and try and find the different flavors. Funny story: We had lunch there in the cafe and I wasn't seeing anything I liked. I'm not super adventurous in the food department. I like to stick to what I know I like. I ended up getting a kids meal to go. It looked like happy meal box. The server came out looking for a kid and I'm like no that's for me! Everyone on our tour bus was giggling at me. But I ended up with more food than them. That kids meal fed me twice! Who's laughing now?

Then we ended the day at a little italian restaurant across from our hotel. Who knew great italian food in Scotland.

Fashion Friday

It's been such a long week. Between car issues, sick kids, working and taking care of the house. It's been nuts trying to keep up with everything. The beginning of the week was really exciting though. I finally signed a deal with a couple music producers that are going to take me to the next step in my music career. I'm just beyond excited to just be able to record my own music in a recording studio. My songs are like my babies they are an extension of me. I can't wait to share them with the all of you.

Fashion Friday Boho and the Romantics

Happy Friday!! I'm finally off to my weekend getaway with my man to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. Pretty crazy ! What's even crazier is that it's been a whole year since we've had any alone time together. Every year I try to change that and stuff still gets in the way. I have to be better about this. It's so important to make time for your husband/wife. To date your husband/wife as much as you can. I'm going to be slightly unplugged this weekend. So that we can refresh and restart our brains for a bit. Until next week!!! Have a great weekend!

I thought this outfit would be great since I'm going to a romantic getaway. I love the blush pink romper with the champagne fringe cardigan. It's one of my favorite combinations. This macrame bracelet is the perfect accessory. Ties the whole look together!

Fashion Friday

I love this kimono! I love the color of this Kimono. I don't know if you've noticed but Target has been stepping it up in the fashion department lately. I love a lot of the stuff that they've been putting out. When I saw this I had to snatch it up quickly before it was gone. They also have it in white and right now they are buy one get one half off right now. Pretty good deal if you want to grab both colors which is what I did.

We made it through the first week of school and all went well. It's looking to be a good year. We might just do a back to school fashion series of all Riley's cute back to school outfits.
Happy Friday everyone!

Fashion Friday Last days of Summer

It's officially the last weekend of the summer! EEK! Where did the summer go? Does time just speed up the older you get? I remember summer feeling like it was lagging a lot when I was younger. It would get to the point where I was anxious for school to start up again. I guess I was a strange kid. Maybe I'm still strange? Oh well! I bid you adieu summer. It's been great, relaxing I hope next summer lives up to all the expectations.
