Fashion Friday

It's friday and I'm so happy! This week has been less stressful then last week. Do you ever pile way too many things on your plate. I think it's the fact that I'm impatient so I want to do everything all at once. It's such a bad habit. Yet I'm still sitting here determined to do it all. I'm literally multi-tasking my dreams at the moment. Focusing on this Model/Talent expo in June. I have two months left. Of course I'm pushing myself to do all of the categories. This girl ...right here has to have a song, an original song, a monologue, a two-person scene. As well as all the outfits for the modeling portion. I'm literally doing everything but the dancing. I like to dance but no way am I auditioning for something like that. Did I bite off more than I can chew? Part of my impatience is feeling like I'm running out of time. Have you ever felt that way? The older I get the further away I am from what I want to do. I feel like my chance is now so I have to take it. I am now officially rambling. Let's get back to the clothes...

I'm so excited about this skirt. I see so much potential with it. I love the color! I love the suede! I can wear it a million times over.

DIY HOME DECOR

It's been so long since I did a DIY post. Let alone a home decor one. I'm the type of girl who loves to present everything as a whole. My house is just not done yet. We've been here for almost 8 months and I'm slowly decorating the house. I probably take way too much time thinking about how I want it done then I should. Maybe I'm just a perfectionist. I really love hanging plants in general so I when I started seeing them being hung indoors I got really excited. Even more excited when I saw a decorator hang them from the ceiling vent. GENIUS! I filed the idea away in my brain to come back to later. At a recent trip to Hobby Lobby I came across these hanging tea light holders for only $7.99. I knew I had to get them. I like to visualize before I start a project. So I knew I could use just some garland for . Then I realized it had to hang somehow. The hook for the tea light holder wasn't going to work. I knew I had some twine at home. I literally just tied the twine to the hook and another smaller hook or bracket for hanging pictures and hooked it to the ceiling vents.
The whole project cost me $40 give or take. Hobby Lobby is constantly having sales on this type of stuff so take advantage. I hung one lower then the other mainly because I measured wrong. But it came out great even though they are uneven. One of the easiest DIY projects I've done.

CopyCat Tuesday

I love a dress and a chunky cardigan sweater. It's so effortless and easy. You're just cozy all day long. I love the print of this dress. I got on clearance at Forever21 and I'm glad I did. The print is transitional through the seasons. See how I styled this dress before here.
What's your favorite transitional piece?

Fashion Friday

When I was down in Orlando last month I picked up some stuff from Forema Boutique. This was one of my favorite tops from there. I love the floral with the black. One of my favorite combinations. It's very feminine but edgy too! I paired it with some high waisted jeans and black booties and called it a day! Love how it came out.

CopyCat Tuesday

This weeks Copycat Tuesday is a little combination of Copycat and Fashion Friday. A couple outfits found on Pinterest that inspired todays outfit. I love the bold print and the color combination. Just a really fun look for a casual day. You can also dress it up with a blazer or a leather jacket for an edgier look. Maybe a hat floppy or fedora with some layering necklaces. It's very versatile!
