Stronger than a 90's trend

You ever wonder when they will be done with this 90's trend. I don't hate it! It's make me very nostalgic. I watched "The Last Blockbuster" on Netflix. The "KID 90"  and "The Orange years: The Nickelodeon story" Documentaries on Hulu. It's fun to think about how simple things used to be. No Social Media, no pressure to be perfect all the time. We could go outside and play for hours without watching TV. We used our imagination. Going to a Blockbuster was a special thing. I loved spending time picking out all the fun movies. I think that's why I'm such a big TV/Movie junkie. I miss all the fun Nickelodeon shows as well.

What was your favorite thing from the 90's ?

Belated Mothers day Post

I was so busy enjoying my mothers day with my little family. I never got to post about it. That's a good thing right? Well Mothers day has always been special for me and my kids. I found out I was pregnant with Ri on mothers day. Then I found out I was pregnant with Caleb Mothers day weekend.
I'm so glad our church decided to do baby dedication on Mothers day this year. So we got to get up with our church family and dedicate these sweet babies.
The rest of the day was a lazy day hanging out together but it was beautiful weather!
Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Go get em Tiger

Does summer ever stress you out. I've always been this way. I was always anticipating school to be out so I could be lazy and do nothing. Then I would get tired of sitting on the couch doing nothing all day and couldn't wait to go back to school. I've always enjoyed planning things. Parties, get togethers, events for other people. Now it's just so overwhelming. I get so stressed out when there's too many things going on and I can't focus on what I need to get done. Whenever I would plan a big birthday party for my kid. I would go overboard with the attention to detail that it would take me HOURS to set it up. One time I even made the guests wait outside because I wasn't done decorating. I've learned my lesson that's for sure.

Maybe its a mix of too much too late. A little procrastination and a little bit of me being overzealous. Which you may have read about in my last post. My crazy plans for the summer. Recording almost didn't happen several times. Now it's back on track for next week. Mission trip is still on track and paid for however having passport issues. Which leads right into issues for anniversary trip. It's basically enough to make me go crazy. Nothing makes me go even crazier when the house is a mess and unorganized. Then I feel like maybe I have ADD or ADHD just because I can't focus on what I need to do. I have a constant need to multi-task. Maybe it's a mom problem.

A long with my ADD mind right now.... I'm blogging this really late. I bought the shirt awhile ago. Took this picture in April. My hair isn't even the same anymore. I'm just getting around to blogging it in June.

Lord help me !  I need to get these outfits out so I can stop worrying about it. Even if I have nothing special to say.

This is me in a super comfortable shirt. I even bought two so I could sell it. If you are interested in this top check out my poshmark closet. Tiger Tee

The whole outfit is a mix between Walmart and Ross. I love sticking to a budget!

VOILA a new blog post has been born. Until next time!

Leopard Love

If you know me you know I love leopard. I even got the girls on the worship team at church to follow suit.
I love that it never goes out of style. I got this cute top on clearance along with these pants. I'm in love they are some of the most comfortable pants I have and they got pockets. I went back to the store just to get them in black.
Great and airy for summer and transitional to Fall.
Paired it with this distressed oversized denim jacket. A lot of neutrals and they always go so nice together.

Happy Hump Day !!

Overzealous

It's been awhile I know. Life has been busy and I'm contemplating taking a break from the blogging world. It's just been hard to give my all on one thing when my focus is split all the time.

It's now summer and I've been cramming a lot of plans in to make up for last year. I hope you all are doing the same. It's almost like life is getting back to normal a little bit. We are officially allowed to take off our masks in most places. I went into Target the other day with no mask. It felt weird and it wasn't long before I put it back on again. I just don't know what I'm supposed to do. I'm sure that's the case with a lot of you. Especially in the states that are more behind then other states.

It's almost like we've lived to separate lives here in Colorado. Our first year was so different with everyone being stuck at home. Trying to navigate all that. We had no friends yet. Everything was closed there were no cars on the street. It was like living in the twilight zone. Now sports are happening again. The streets are busy. They are doing concerts and festivals and all other kinds of events. Tickets for flights have gone way up again. It's insane!

I'm hoping to get some summer posts up for you to share all the things we have planned.

I'm heading back into the studio in a couple weeks. Going on a mission trip to Mexico. Kids are doing summer camp. That's just in JUNE. I may have gotten over zealous with the summer plans.

Life is short right?
