Fashion Friday {Dallas}

 I’m off having a fantastic time in Texas. A little work, a little mommy vacation time. I actually don’t mind alone time so much. When you only have to worry about yourself. It’s nice to take a little breather from everyone else and just decompress. Don’t you think?
Take a bath, eat in bed, sleep in. This is definitely a belated Mother’s day present to me. The hubby was in school during mothers day and it was too much to do anything. Too bad I can’t throw in a massage this week. But stuffing my face with some In n Out will have to do.
Please follow along on my music instagram to see all about my trip.

Hope you are having a relaxing, stress free friday and rest of your weekend!

Fashion Friday {Love}

 I've really been into screen tees probably more so lately. I love comfiness! I also love a good screen tee with a nice message. I have a girl power one now I have this awesome LOVE one. Courtesy of my favorite place Ross Dress for Less! It's like a scavenger hunt every time I go and I love it! I have it down to an art now. Some days it's a couple awesome pieces and some days it's been me annoying the dressing room attendant. Because it basically looks like I'm going to try on the entire store and potentially not buy it all. Oops ... sorry especially if  you work retail and are reading this post now. I did work retail back in the day so I feel your pain. But I am also a mom now who doesn't get a whole lot of time to shop. So it usually is me grabbing the whole entire store because it's been awhile or me speed shopping because my kid is being a terror in the store. Either way I'm in a hurry and I need some cute clothes. Amen if you can relate!

Where's your favorite place to speed shop?

Fashion Friday {Good Friday}

I can't believe it's the last weekend of March already! I'm excited because it's another month down in this deployment. That also means two more months of school then its spring break! I'm half excited about that! Excited about being able to sleep in. Not excited because my kids are getting older and also now I have to occupy them. That feels like a lot of work. Can I get an Amen from my fellow stay-at-home moms!? We don't have major Easter plans church, egg hunts the usual!
Hope you have a great Easter Weekend!

{Copycat Tuesday} Fashion Bloggers

It's hard for me to get inspired lately. Especially when I'm not where I would like to be weight wise. I'm constantly reminded by people that I just had a baby. But I'm in that obnoxious transitional period. Where nothing old fits right and you don't like the way anything new fits. Let's just say I'm really tired of leggings. They have gotten old. So I'm on a mission to get inspired! With all this nice sunny weather and moving soon to a new place. I plan on keeping an eye out for new things and starting fresh. Hopefully I will be bringing some new stuff for you soon. Until then let's just have some fun with Copycat Tuesday! This one is by one of my fave fashionistas Lua from

Constant Craving ....

Well we've hit the halfway mark. That kinda went by fast! I'm at 21 weeks now and not that much has changed. Besides the baby's size I guess. He should be about 3/4 of a pound now and 10 1/2 inches long {about the length of a carrot}.
I've been finding myself getting hungrier too. Craving things like chili cheese fries, fruit, chips mostly. I love chips so don't leave a bag of chips in front of me because I have no self control at this point. Then of course sweets I love any sweets!
I've been doing really well with staying away from all foods that I'm not supposed to eat.
I don't like to take any chances with my little munchkins.

It's no secret I'm a high risk pregnancy. With the loss of our first son Elijah and my Thyroid cancer ....and well I guess my asthma too. All of that good stuff makes for an awesome pregnancy! {sarcasm}
Good thing it's all worth it in the end and you get a beautiful precious baby out of the deal.

I got a bunch of bodycon dresses for the summer and it was one of the best purchases. This dress was only $10 and they are really stretchy so I can easily transition them into Fall/Winter for the rest of my pregnancy.

{Fashion Friday} Crops and Bodycons

Finally have a Maternity Fashion post up!

I am now 19 weeks and 3 days.

Let's be honest. This pregnancy has not been at all what I thought it would be.
I knew it would be hard but not this hard. They weren't kidding when they said every pregnancy is different. There is absolutely nothing I could count on from my last two pregnancies. Everything has been amplified by 100 and brand new stuff too.
I'm getting through it though. I'm working around it. That's all a mama can do right.
I'm thankful that the hubs is being supportive and helpful when I can't do things.

Cravings:
 Meat! I want meat at all meals. Bacon, cheeseburgers, steak, all that jazz! Baby loves it too. He kicks me so much when he gets meat. He's already a little hungry boy.

{Fashion Friday} Leopards and Skaters

Fashion Friday is here. A little late in the day but better late than never right? I must admit it's been hard for me to get back into the swing of things after all the family being here. As well as everything else going on. Which is a ton! Nothing out of the norm for an Army wife. But a lot of stuff at the same time. Thankfully summer is fast approaching and Riley will be out of school in a few weeks. Apparently this school has the longest school year ever! Not getting out til the end of June. There goes most of the summer months. I hope to get much more blogged in the coming weeks. Get back into my groove before being "lazy in the summer"  becomes my new mentality and takes me over completely.
Do any of you have the same problem towards the end of the school year? I can't be the only one.....
