{Fashion Friday} Style Evolution: Oldies but goodies

Before I actually was able to have someone take my pictures for me. Before I had blonde, slightly ombre'd hair and before I even had a blog. I was taking pictures of my outfits with my cell phone just like everyone else...haha! My style is always changing, I'm very eclectic. There are many different aspects to my personality. Even back in high school. I went from trendy, to punk-ish with my side bangs and teased hair. I've been all over the map. I've done different shades of dark hair. Brown, brown with blondish high-lights, black, reddish brown, light brown and now to my blonde hair. I'm constantly getting rid of clothes that I just don't see myself wearing ever again. Bringing in new things that I can wear for years and grow into. I should kind of dress for my age right? Oh well ... It's been an interesting ride. Here are a few favorites!

{Style Evolution} Me through the years

I was recently going through old pictures with friends and I found some awesome photos of my earlier "fashion" days. I know there are way more out there that I have to track down. For now we just have these. I can't believe some of the things I wore but at the time I thought I looked good. I was always experimenting with different looks and making something new out of what I already had. 

When I was younger I got into a modeling class. Everyone voted on headshots instead of a runway show. {I personally wanted a runway show} but found one of the pics.. !

 

My first "dance" at the school I went to. I thought this outfit was so awesome.. Nice and coordinated with my tennis shoes. Maybe this is why I hate sneakers so much. haha ! I think I was 12 here!

 

Fast Forward to high school {Which was the same school. I went there from 7th-12 grade}

Look at the awesome shades.. I was like 15 or 16 here!

 

This is my sister getting artistic with my posing. This outfit, my {high school best friend} made for me. We liked to put together stuff back then. She would make something new out of old clothes we would find! I still think thats pretty awesome! I wish we still did that.

 

AND THISS.... Is when my hair got chopped off! Sigh!! My school trip to Chicago I was sixteen.. The outfit isn't all that bad. But the SHOES!!! UGHH .. Huge ROXY shoes.. I used to call them "Duckbill Platypus's" That's honestly what they looked like to me. MAN I was tiny! ..and the shoes don't help!

 

My Married years! This was like 3 years ago. I started taking pictures of my outfits more. OF course on the cell phone! Oh and my hair was dark and I had bangs.

 

Same time frame. Mommy and me fashion at the mall! Didn't do it on purpose, sometimes great minds just think alike. :)
