{Fashion Friday} Crops and Bodycons

Finally have a Maternity Fashion post up!

I am now 19 weeks and 3 days.

Let's be honest. This pregnancy has not been at all what I thought it would be.
I knew it would be hard but not this hard. They weren't kidding when they said every pregnancy is different. There is absolutely nothing I could count on from my last two pregnancies. Everything has been amplified by 100 and brand new stuff too.
I'm getting through it though. I'm working around it. That's all a mama can do right.
I'm thankful that the hubs is being supportive and helpful when I can't do things.

Cravings:
Meat! I want meat at all meals. Bacon, cheeseburgers, steak, all that jazz! Baby loves it too. He kicks me so much when he gets meat. He's already a little hungry boy.

{gender reveal} Drumroll please.....

I know a lot of you have been waiting super patiently and I appreciate it.
Thanks to one of our many screening tests we were able to find the sex out of the baby a lot earlier than expected. So we've kinda known for awhile.......We are finally letting the cat out of the bag!

Kiss the Cook

I haven't tried any new recipes lately. But I thought I would share one of our favorites that are now a staple in our weekly meal plans.

We have consciously tried to switch out a lot of ingredients in our food to make them a bit healthier for us. They have turned out to be really awesome and we can't get enough!

Tacos

We switched ground beef for ground turkey and we can't even taste the difference.
As well as making our own taco seasoning. It's way better than buying the packaged seasoning. They end up having too much "extra" stuff that we don't want.

1lb Ground Turkey
Corn taco shells
cheese {we shred block cheese ourselves. Supposedly the bagged stuff is more processed}
Tomatoes
Plain greek yogurt {instead of sour cream}
Avocados

Taco Seasoning

1Tbl Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 1/2 tsp Ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

Brown meat, rinse
Add seasoning to meat. Add 1/3 cup water

Happy Fiesta!

Our Fourth of July weekend

We actually had to do fireworks a day early because of the big hurricane on the 4th. Family came to visit just in time. We had a blast watching the fireworks in Lexington. It was bittersweet because it will be our last 4th of July in Massachusetts. We've had some good memories here as a family.

As you can see Riley went a little crazy when her papa bought her an ice cream. You'd think the kid was deprived her whole life. She was even giving this evil laugh like I'm a cartoon. She might have the same addiction that has affected her daddy his whole life. An addiction to ice cream!
The fireworks were a blast. My youngest niece and I were pretending to be in control of them with our magic powers. Had me laughing so hard!
Stay tuned for more of our crazy weekend !
