Fashion Friday {Freedom}

I am so happy to announce that we are now debt free. We've been "kind of" following the Dave Ramsey method. No loans, no credit car debt. It's an awesome feeling. I really hope that we can stick to it. It takes a lot of determination and sacrifice to reach these kinds of goals. We have our next baby step goals planned to reach for the rest of the year. I highly recommend diving into this program. 

No one likes to be tied down by a mountain of debt. 

Now it's time save, travel, and live our lives a little bit more. I'm excited for the next chapter for us. 

We've got some more crazy adventures on the horizon.

 

Coachella Dreams

Every year I get sucked into all the Coachella fashion. Every single year. I love it!! I love music so much too. You think it would be a no brainer to attend. I've always wanted to go to a music festival. I almost went to warped tour one year. I think I'm probably way too old for that. If its even still around I have no idea. I decided to have my own Coachella inspired outfit so I can turn up the heat, put some tunes on, close my eyes and dance around as if I was there. I paired my two favorite things fringe {Tobi.com}  and floral {shoppriceless.com}.. Because seriously you should see my closet. Way too much of both! What's your favorite Coachella look ?

Fashion Friday

A trend that I hope never goes away. Well even if it did I wouldn't care. I would still wear them. I feel like I was born in the wrong decade. These bell bottom pants from wet seal are so comfy. Like not wearing anything at all. They are like a second skin. I love pairing brighter colors with black and white. I love the contrast. What's your favorite trend right now?

Fashion Friday {Bohemian rhapsody}

I'm just having too much fun with styling this vest. I was unsure about it at first when I got it from Ross. I wasn't sure how many outfits I could make with it. That's my shopping rule! If I can't make three or more outfits out of an item I can't get it. Well now this awesome suede vest is a staple in my wardrobe. What are the staples in your wardrobe?

{Fashion Friday}...Bohemian

I am so proud of myself. Usually I am scrambling last minute to get my pictures for Fashion Friday all ready and posted. This time however with my brand new tripod {thank you husband} I am now caught up for 3 weeks! That's right, so now I can get even more done. Maybe I will even start posting them more than once a week. What's your vote?

I feel like my style has transformed over and over again through the years. {Note to self must find some choice pics of my style back in the day to show you guys}. I went through the normal trends, I created my own. I took risks, I was cautious. Now I feel like everything is just out the window. I don't see myself as trendy exactly. I can look at the trends that are popular and decide what I like and what I hate. In fact I just watched 2013 fashion trends on E! and everything is recycled again. Stripes and black and white is in this year .. good I have an abundance of black and white and black and white stripes. I wear what I like, I wear what I'm comfortable in. I don't care if people don't like it or if I am made fun of. {**cough cough.. red pants} Somewhere out there there are people who do like my outfits anyway.

Style is more than a hobby for me. It's a passion .. I may have already said this but oh well I am saying it again. :) Maybe it's the part of being a girl and playing dress up since I was little that makes it fun now.
