BLOGIVERSARY

This past week was my blogiversary.

 I can't believe I have been blogging for TEN YEARS!! What started out as something to showcase my outfits, do little DIY projects etc, has evolved over the years. There's definitely been ups and downs. I have had a great outlet to share my thoughts, family adventures, my creative projects, etc. I have been able to continue to practice my writing. 

There's always the awkward part of putting your life in the public eye. It always opens you up for negative comments, unsolicited opinions, people copying you, and so much more. 

This has been the “social media” before the social media for me over the years. 

I'm not even sure if people read this thing anymore. Not when you can see images on instagram, listen to the podcast to hear my thoughts on things. But I do appreciate the people that have stuck with it with me over the years. 

I'm not sure what the future will bring but until then.

Spring Cleaning turned Summer purge

 

 

 

 Has your spring cleaning itch happened yet?

I've been there for a bit now that the sun is out I've been cleaning out the fridge, the bathrooms. I'm starting a pile! HUGE PILE of clothes to get rid of. My closet has become quite overwhelming at this point. I need things to go like yesterday. I am starting to feel like a hoarder. 

Since I have the summer off Spring cleaning has turned into a summer purge at this point. It's ridiculous. I'm getting rid of so much stuff. Things i've held onto for years whether its clothes or kids toys or whatever. If we haven't used it its out! 

Maybe we will end up living that minimalist lifestyle. I don't even feel like we have that much stuff. But when it's all piled together it just gets out of hand so fast. With another move on the horizon for us I hate just moving it from one house to another house. Never even pulling it out of a box.

12 days of Christmas Outfits: Day 6 {Emerald green}

 When I first bought this jumpsuit this is the outfit I envisioned. I've been waiting for over a year for this jacket! I finally snagged and I love it. Gorgeous color, velvet, and snazzy details. This if my favorite jumpsuit to wear all year long. It's so comfy and flattering. You can pair it with honestly anything for any holiday.

Falling or Flying {Remote Learning Update}

 

 

I had a moment. Literally just a moment to sneak in here and tell you how insane remote learning is. I'm basically going back to Kindergarten. I'm so thankful for the teachers and the schools for being so flexible, patient and understanding of how our kids are doing during this. We only are set to do it for the first month. I'm hoping and praying they do not extend it ..because... honestly. I'm dying! I'm not ashamed to say that this is the absolute worst. My kid is not the sit down and listen type. At least not in this setting. I literally have to sit next to him all day long to make sure he learns something from his teacher. 

Every day I'm just so thankful to survive the day. I know all the schools are doing things differently. How are you doing things? Are you in person learning? Strictly remote learning? How are you surviving?

On a side note when you are stuck at home doing remote learning you might as well be comfy and cute. These pants are by far my favorite. I have collected 3 different colors new and they are all perfect for fall. They are so versatile. Clearly, because you guys have seen them multiple times. Whats your favorite color to wear for fall?
