Peace

Nothing like Christmas break to finally get a breather. Minus the freezing temperatures that is. That just leaves time for Christmas movies and being cozy.

Matthew 11:28

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Nothing is wasted

We are reaching the end of the year. I feel like I've pushed hard this year. Working, a new show, health issues, putting out new music. But that burn out is real. It's a vicious cycle. So with the remainder of 2022 I want to do just that. Rest, reset. I feel like I might say that all the time. But taking a moment to breathe and focus on family and the things that fill my soul. Work things out. There's always room to learn new things. There's always room to heal. I want to do that.

 Once the weather changes I live in this jacket! It's been my favorite since I bought over a year ago! If you can envision wearing a blanket out in public that is socially acceptable. That's what you get with this jacket. Can't beat the neutral color because it can be paired with literally anything.
I added this band tee, mini skirt, cabbie hat and over the knee boots.

12 Days of Christmas Outfits: Day 4 {Hipster}

 I can't wear this plaid wrap jacket without thinking of Scotland. It's so comfy and cozy and perfect for going to church during December, or a casual Christmas outfit. Let's face it the best Christmas outfit is a casual one. It's fun to dress up but if you are going from one families house to another you need to be able to move. Plus a fun quote on a basic white tee is the best! "Girls can do anything" it's true now and it will be true tomorrow.

Wear Red day

 It's been a few years since I did a feature like this. I wanted to shine some light on this cause. Now more than ever this cause means a lot to me.

The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement encourages people to take action through the month of February by: Wearing red today on National wear red day to raise awareness about heart disease. If you want to donate click here Go red for women
