{Fashion Friday} Leopards and Skaters

Fashion Friday is here. A little late in the day but better late than never right? I must admit it's been hard for me to get back into the swing of things after all the family being here. As well as everything else going on. Which is a ton! Nothing out of the norm for an Army wife. But a lot of stuff at the same time. Thankfully summer is fast approaching and Riley will be out of school in a few weeks. Apparently this school has the longest school year ever! Not getting out til the end of June. There goes most of the summer months. I hope to get much more blogged in the coming weeks. Get back into my groove before being "lazy in the summer"  becomes my new mentality and takes me over completely.

Do any of you have the same problem towards the end of the school year? I can't be the only one.....

While all the family was visiting I overheard some pretty hilarious conversations they had with little miss Riley.

Uncle: No one watches tv during the day

Annnnnddd I'm back!  It's been such a roller coaster of excitement lately. Leaving me pretty busy or really exhausted. Where I just want to sit on the couch and watch movies all day long. 

Don't we all wish we could do that?!

Things I'm loving

There are so many things I'm loving this week. If you haven't heard we are moving to hawaii next summer and that's pretty exciting. A lot of red tape because this is a different kind of move so that's all complicated. But living at the beach sounds pretty luxurious don't ya think?? 

We are very thankful that God has allowed to live in such amazing places. They are always places we would never imagine living but we make the best of it and we have awesome adventures together and make great memories! 

Also we had all the family last week for the hubby's graduation. Can't believe that was already a week ago {blogging that soon} but they all left and Evans little brother stayed longer with us. I can't even remember the last time we had some bonding time with just him. I think this might be the first time. We've been having so much fun exploring the historical sites with him and introducing him to our favorite New England traditions.

{Fashion Friday} Stripes obsession

I can't believe it's already friday! I'm already losing track of my days. I've had a ton of major things going on lately plus a house full of family! The hubby graduating, preparing for our move, getting Riley ready for Kindergarten next year.

That's bound to make anyone's brain go a little wonky. I'm getting a a hold of my life again and getting organized. I always feel so much better when I cross things off of my list. 

I decided to go with a simply spring outfit. Maybe channeling my need to simplify my life right now. Not sure, either way it works.

BIG NEWS ALERT

Word is in on our next duty station!  I know you have read my many complaints about the cold and the snow and what not. It's just hard for a California girl to be put in two very cold places. First Colorado now Massachusetts! It's never been my favorite. So after 5 1/2 years of cold, brutal winters. We are moving to HAWAII!!!!! At first I was nervous about having the choice. It was the only spot open for us at this time. They said we could take the chance of getting whatever they give us, or taking Hawaii now. After weighing all our options we took the plunge and said yes. Now we get to have an super long extended vacation. Sounds pretty exciting to me! Can't wait to be in this beautiful place!
