I love a dress and a chunky cardigan sweater. It's so effortless and easy. You're just cozy all day long. I love the print of this dress. I got on clearance at Forever21 and I'm glad I did. The print is transitional through the seasons. See how I styled this dress before here.

CopyCat Tuesday

This weeks Copycat Tuesday is a little combination of Copycat and Fashion Friday. A couple outfits found on Pinterest that inspired todays outfit. I love the bold print and the color combination. Just a really fun look for a casual day. You can also dress it up with a blazer or a leather jacket for an edgier look. Maybe a hat floppy or fedora with some layering necklaces. It's very versatile!

While I love the idea of "CopyCat Tuesday." It's purpose is to find inspiration and have your own take on an outfit. The idea that you see something and think "I have similar things in my closet". Not necessarily to be exact on copying someone else's outfit. Just to get the vibe from it, the feel of the outfit and create something of your own. While I didn't have the exact pieces in this outfit. I had items that had a similar vibe. A different style dress, a different vest which brought different colors to the outfit. Which lead to the boots that pop more against such a neutral palette. While this may sound like gibberish to some. I think of clothes as my art. It's an extension of me. It's how I express myself creatively. Do you feel the same way about clothes too?

Today's outfit is yet another one found on pinterest.

Which is perfect for Valentines Day. This shade of pink is so flirty and romantic. Also great for spring. Which is basically the weather we've been having here anyway. It's got me in the Spring frame of mind. I'm already halfway to summer already. What's your look for Valentine's day?

While I didn't copy this outfit exactly. It was inspiration to work with what I already had in my closet. Took a different spin on it. I love that it was warm enough outside in the middle of winter to wear these little oxford flats. I never seem to wear them enough. The floral kimono's got me dreaming about spring too.

Copycat Tuesday {Mommy Daughter Fashion}

The older she gets the harder it is to take pictures with her. You know when they get to that age where they would rather make goofy faces then a smile. Well we've officially gotten there. Luckily she said she would do this with me without a fight. I fear she gets it from her dad. Caleb was hamming it up he thought it was his photo shoot. Maybe I need to swap out kids.
