CopyCat Tuesday {Mommy/Daughter}

I honestly matching my baby girl! She does too she was striking poses left and right. We might have a little model on our hands. She gets so excited when I tell her "Let's match today". Sometimes she even says it to me. She'll see what I'm wearing and come into my room wearing something similar. "I wanted to match you today". She's my little mini-me for sure. This is a perfect mother/daughter outfit. Very simple and fun. Did I mention this is one of her favorite skirts. She would wear it every day if she could.

CopyCat Tuesday {Mommy and Me}

My first post of the new year! I thought I would do a little twist on copycat Tuesday. Do a little mommy/daughter fashion. My little mini me loves to dress like me...{usually}. She also has a mind of her own. If we kind of match then she gets excited. I'm not so sure she would wear this outfit without me. She just is starting to have her own style now. We bought her outfit a year or so ago. Her top was from Target. A little peplum high low top, and the leggings more recently from walmart. She totally rocks it too! I'm sure this won't be the last mommy/daughter Fashion post! Happy New Year everyone!

{Conversations with a five year old}

Riley: I need to go to high school

Daddy: You are too young for high school

Riley: But I'm wearing high heels

Riley: Is that Daddy?

Mommy: That was fast..

Riley: Well, he's running

Mommy: Can you help me put my shoes on?

Riley: You can do it I trust you.

Mommy: Riley why are you so crazy and wild?

Riley: I don't know

Mommy: Is it because your brother is coming and you are trying to cling to every last bit of attention you can get?

Riley: YES!

Back to school

Last week was Ri's first day of school. Yes I bawled my eyes out day of and night before of course! My little baby started kindergarten and left me to be alone all day. They sure do grow up so fast. It felt like she was going off to college not sure if that's my pregnancy hormones or just being a mom. But those first couple days were torture I must say! How do moms do it all the time.

She of course was so excited. No issues at all. She's been waiting weeks for the first day. With her frozen backpack and her new school shoes. We even did a back to school fashion show that she totally loved.
