Lady and the tramp {Savannah Anniversary photos}

 We've been missing Savannah, Ga a lot lately. It's hard to move from a place you get so used to. Move away from all the great friends you've made. We definitely set some roots down there. I'm so glad we were able to take anniversary pictures last summer downtown.
During this quarantine we were finally able to see Lady and the tramp which was filmed in downtown Savannah. I got really excited that some of the spots we took pictures at were scenes in the movie.
Definitely check it out and see if you can spot these locations.
Also, the movie poster was around where I worked downtown. I thought that was pretty cool

Fashion Friday

Fall has finally hit Georgia. It was cold today.. I even wore actual shoes instead of sandals. Which is so crazy because it was almost 90 degrees last night for trick or treating. I even have mosquito bites on my feet.
It means that I can turn off my AC, have some hot chocolate and snuggle up with some blankets and catch up on all my shows.
I've been trying to try out some of the new shows for the fall season but only managed to get through Stumptown. Not sure how I am sold on it yet. Instead I've been binge watching the resident so I can catch up. I really like it so far. Any new show suggestions send them my way so I can check them out.

Fashion Friday {It's gonna be May}

I like the best of both worlds. I like a little country with my city and a little city with my country. I love being close enough to the city to enjoy it but also far enough away from the crowd.
Lately I've been on a mission lately to try as much of the local places and see as much as possible before we are off to the next place. Which sparked a new blog post idea. So all things Savannah and surrounding areas will be coming to you soon. You can also follow me on instagram too get the day to day as well.
Since I had family visiting I went to some of the favorite places one being Leopold's ice cream. I've been a handful of times now I plan on at least trying all the flavors but right now my favorite flavor is peanut butter chippy.
But more on that in another post.

I recently went shopping and found this cute little summer leopard dress. Yes! I know more leopard. I now I have a well rounded leopard wardrobe! Who doesn't want that?

Fashion Friday {Date Night}

This last weekend I had the best time downtown! I was finally lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. I've lived in Georgia for a couple years now and have never done the SCAD film festival even though I've always wanted to. I randomly saw on Facebook that they were going to be premiering the first episode of my favorite show WITH a q&a panel with the cast and creators. I just about jumped out of my skin and hoped that the tickets weren't outrageously priced. I waited at my computer for the tickets to go on sale. I counted down the minutes and kept refreshing the page. I was ecstatic to see they were only $15 a ticket and it was also when my husband would be home. I couldn't believe how awesome that was!

We got there a few hours before it started hoping to have a nice dinner downtown beforehand. However, people were already lining up to go in. So we had to settle for subway since it was across the street. We got a decent spot in line and talked with other Outlander fans the whole time. They had us line up on the opposite street from where they did the red carpet. I was obviously too excited to be thinking straight because I missed that opportunity. They finally ushered us in and I scored a few seats third row back from the stage. I had never been to the Lucas theater either and it was so gorgeous I definitely want to go back again. The opposite was amazing and I can't wait for the new season to start and the cast was so amazing in person and hilarious! I loved every minute of it. Especially with my handsome husband. We definitely came full circle from him starting this show and getting me into it. Then going to Scotland on our anniversary trip and going on the Outlander tour to seeing the premiere and the cast. It's been so awesome!
